Annual Dividend Income Calculator for Individual Dividend-Paying Stock

Use the Annual Dividend Income Calculator for Individual Dividend-Paying Stock to compute the annual income derived from dividends for a stock from a major U.S. stock exchanges and supported by Quandl. The calculator does not support symbols for exchange-traded funds (ETFs), indexes and mutual funds.

To run the calculator enter a stock symbol, the number of shares owned, the amount invested (may be 0) at the current stock price, the number of dividends paid per year and the annual dividend growth rate (may be 0) and press the Display Results button.

The calculator computes the annual dividends paid in two steps. First, it multiples the current dividend from Quandl by the number of shares owned. Second, the calculator computes the number of shares purchased by dividing the amount invested that you entered by the current price at Quandl. Then it computes the total annual dividends paid by multiplying the current dividend from Quandl by the total number of shares (currently owned plus purchased).

Next, the dividend incomes in five and ten years are computed based on the annual dividend growth rate and the total number of shares owned. The dividend growth rate is constant and dividends are not reinvested.
