Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund Pays a Good Dividend Yield

Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF), an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that holds over 80 major U.S. financial stocks, has bounced off a low of $17.17 set on July 15, 2008. This low represents long-term support.


Currently, XLF pays a dividend with a yield just over four percent.

The top five holdings, as of August 8, 2008, are Bank Of America (BAC), JPMorgan Chase (JPM), Citigroup (C), Wells Fargo & Co (WFC) and Goldman Sachs Group (GS).

XLF has a low expense ratio of 0.23 percent.
