Waste Management Is a Dividend Play

Waste Management (WMI), a waste (collection, transfer and disposal) and environmental services (recycling and renewable energy) company has increased its quarterly dividend from $0.188 in February, 2004 to $0.27 in March, 2008. The current dividend yield is 2.90 percent.

The stock has recovered from its collapse 1999 and is currently on the price upside. But it is not far from resistance at $39 to $40.

Buy WMI on price dips to get a bargain and boost your initial dividend yield.
