Vectren
Corporation (VVC),
a diversified (electric and natural gas) utility serving customers in
Indiana and Ohio, raised its quarterly dividend from $0.335 per share
to $0.34 per share, a 1.49 percent increase. The new dividend is payable
December 1, 2009 to shareholders of record as of November 13, 2009.
VVC has raised its annual dividend 50 consecutive year, making it a Dividend
Achiever and U.S. Dividend Champion.
