General Motors Pays a Hefty Dividend

Have you seen the dividend yield for General Motors (GM)? Because the stock is down 52 percent since October 12, 2007, its yield stands at 4.80 percent. Whether the struggling auto maker will cut its dividend is unknown, but for now the dividend yield makes the stock tempting.

GM is trading near $20 with technical support at $17.
