IBM Increases Its Dividend by 33 Percent

IBM (IBM) announced on April 24, 2007 a quarterly dividend increase from 30 cents to 40 cents pushing up its dividend yield (annual dividend divided by stock price) to over 1.6 percent.

IBM has a long history of increasing its dividend making the stock an excellent candidate for a long-term dividend reinvestment portfolio.
