Aflac Rewards Shareholders With Price Appreciation and Rising Dividends
Aflac
(AFL),
an insurance provider for individuals and businesses, is on a multi-year
price upside. Helped by its successful Aflac duck advertising campaign,
the company continues to attract new policyholders and grow its revenues.
AFL is a cyclical growth stock so it is best purchased at the beginning
of a cyclical upside. Currently, the stock is on steep upside.

Although its dividend yield is only 1.3 percent, the company has been
increasing its quarterly dividend. In November 2001 the quarterly dividend
was five cents. Today it is twenty cents.
AFL is an excellent candidate for a long-term dividend-reinvestment portfolio.
