2010 Dividend Aristocrats Down to 43 Stocks
Standard and Poor's added Cintas Corporation (CTAS)
and Brown-Forman Corporation (BF-B)
to its list of Dividend Aristocrats, companies from the S&P 500 index
that have consistently increased dividends for at least 25 consecutive
years.
But the following ten stocks were removed from the list because of dividend
reductions in 2009: Avery Dennison Corporation (AVY),
BB&T Corp. (BBT),
Gannett (GCI),
General Electric (GE),
Johnson Controls (JCI),
Legg Mason (LM),
M&T Bank Corp. (MTB),
Pfizer (PFE), State Street
Corp. (STT)
and US Bancorp (USB).
The 2010 constituents list includes 43 stocks.
