2010 Dividend Aristocrats Down to 43 Stocks

Standard and Poor's added Cintas Corporation (CTAS) and Brown-Forman Corporation (BF-B) to its list of Dividend Aristocrats, companies from the S&P 500 index that have consistently increased dividends for at least 25 consecutive years.

But the following ten stocks were removed from the list because of dividend reductions in 2009: Avery Dennison Corporation (AVY), BB&T Corp. (BBT), Gannett (GCI), General Electric (GE), Johnson Controls (JCI), Legg Mason (LM), M&T Bank Corp. (MTB), Pfizer (PFE), State Street Corp. (STT) and US Bancorp (USB).

The 2010 constituents list includes 43 stocks.
