Piedmont Natural Gas (PNY), a provider of natural gas to customers in North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, has consistently traded well above its 10-year moving average (based on monthly closes). The combination of a persistent upside stock prices and increasing dividends makes PNY an excellent candidate for a long-term growth or income portfolio. PNY is a U. S. Dividend Champion.
